Well, I follow the list *fairly* well but nowhere near as well as I used
to. If all of you involved in "outreach" wonder why ALSs don't post their
questions here, you can now see why not, what with the confusion and the
scathing reply. It really doesn't encourage participation on this list for
people who can't be 100% involved 100% of the time.
Thank you very much for your kind explanation, Alan. I do most certainly
appreciate it and it helped a lot - during a time when we all need to
understand this stuff in the face of elections.
