[NA-Discuss] NARALO Agenda Item

Hi Garth.

There is no group of the kind Thomas is asking for, at least of which I'm
aware.

There has been (and may still be) an organized group of cityTLD applicants,
but that's different from getting a list of ALSs based in cities targeted
to get a TLD.

Indeed, it is not obvious that all TLD strings that may appear as city TLDs
are indeed so:

   - The .spa TLD is current under controversy, as a city in Belgium is
claiming rights even though the applicants have no interest in the
   municipal use of the string
   - The .la TLD is focused on Latin America, not Los Angeles or Louisiana

Also, does an ALS's being based in a city necessarily mean that it is
interest in that city's TLD? IMO, even identifying the group Thomas wants
to collect may be harder than it looks.

- Evan
