Alarming, but also see nothing in this article on freedom of information.

Even IF the legislation is modified to allow the authorities monitoring
rights without a warrant, certainly under the FOIA they should make
monitoring reports open to public inspection. I know this is not an ideal
circumstance but it definitely acts as another check and balance in
ensuring there is no (or reduced) abuse of process.
