More on this topic, from Avri, who is on the executive committee of NCSG.

Her info starts here:
-----------------------------
"An addition for for completeness sake: NPOC has several members who are already part of the NCSG.

1. The American Red Cross (Debbie) was already a member of the NCUC before creating NPOC.

2 Also several NPOC members applied for membership directly in 2010 and were accepted at that time by the Executive Committee
    from https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Old+-+Members+2010+list

Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) (Amber)
   World Wildlife Fund
   March of Dimes
Human Rights Campaign and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation
   Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)

These are all currently listed in either the Active Members list: https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Active+Members
or the Inactive members list: https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Inactive+members
depending on their status in the checkin process.

Rosemary, as the Vice-chair of the Executive Committee, and person on that committee responsible for membership, will be the point person for all discussions on membership issues. The rules for membership require full consensus on the EC on each membership application. The 5 members already accepted all received this in 2010."
