I'm still not sold.
Just now I am watching a similar argument on TV. The similar argument is
that of the sexual predator database that most police departments post
online. The argument is that by having this database that they will thwart
sexual predators. In reality, it is just a way to appear to do something to
solve the problem rather than actually doing something to solve the problem.
Just as with WHOIS, there are real solutions to these problems rather than
just appearing to.
