[NA-Discuss] Call for Statements of Interest for NA-RALO Chair

Dear Colleagues,

As discussed on our last teleconference, we had one statement of  
interest submitted for North American Secretariat, from Darlene  
Thompson, and she has been selected by acclamation. As no one  
submitted a statement of interest for Chair, we agreed to reopen the  
call for a two week period. This time we will have at least one  
statement of interest, as I, Interim Chair, will put my name in the  
hat in an email following this one. If others submit their names,  
then Darlene will oversee an election. If only one candidate remains  
interested, then we will take steps to approve the appointment, for a  
period of approximately one year (through the end of the ICANN annual  
meeting in 2008), by acclamation.

Those interested, please forward names and backgrounds to Darlene,  
who will post them to the list.
