By the way, I wrote the note below as explanation not endorsement.  
The ALAC is currently under review and one of the things we can and  
probably should examine is whether the committee is properly  
composed. For example, would a larger ALAC give us the ability to do  
more? Perhaps increase the elected number from each region from 2 to  
3, and increase the number of NomComm appointees from 5 to 6. This  
would move the ALAC seats from 15 to 21. Yes, it's larger and perhaps  
more cumbersome, but now that all five RALOs are up and running, I  
think there is more to do and we might need the additional person  
power. Food for thought.
