The ICANN / IANA - IETF MoU Supplemental Agreement is
an interesting read (as it lays out a whole series of
IANA obligations, timeframes and commitments that must
be honored) -- see

When I start thinking of what I want ICANN doing for
us, I am mindful of the fact that ICANN previously
pointed to the installation of a ticketing system that
would assist in the categorization of public
complaints, yet I have yet to see a summary report
covering the over 10,000 user complaints received
during 2006 that would assist those of us engaged in
policy development matters. 

I propose that (like the IETF) we ask for the regular
provision of statistical data that can permit trend
evaluation.  This can be listed in the ICANN
obligations section of the MOU.
