Has this gone any further? I copied below from the link.
What about what Paul suggested we focus on? Of the below, I like the
AGP/RGP ideas but rather made into a more neutral environment. Artificial
scarcity would be interesting. I think net neutrality has been overdone
already. Since they are law students, something trademark related would be
appropriate. I'd be interested to see something come out of meshing the
artificial scarcity/additional TLDs with the trademark stuff.
I move that if we have them do something, it be a positive and productive
experience.
So, I've only got 'till tomorrow and I'll be offline 'till Monday for the
most part. Feel free to let me know if we are progressing on this issue...
Brainstorming:
- keep the core neutral (network neutrality)
- reviews - nomcom, at-large
- briefing on ipv4/v6
- artificial scarcity and TLD namespace
- need for the AGP
- conflicts of interest in the RGP
*How many students would you like assigned to this project? **1-2 students*
*How many hours per week would you like the student(s) to commit? **3 hours
*
Please describe the project in as much detail as possible, including
timelines and expectations.
List the tasks that the students must complete in order to finish the
project.
What is the end goal of the project?
What type of training will be offered to the students?
How often will you be available to meet with the students?
