With this change, these reports will no longer be available on <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/y2iC82gN0d0PER500N00020" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://icann.org</a> as of 15 March 2021. ICANN org is providing this update to inform the community of these upcoming changes.</p> <h3>Which Registry Reports Are Available on ICANN's Open Data Platform?</h3>

</ul> <h3>What's Changing?</h3> <p>Both the Registry Functions Activity Reports and Per-Registrar Transactions Reports will only be available on <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/F28RP003L0C0g2i2000EdN0" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">ICANN's Open Data platform</a>. As noted above, these reports will no longer be available on <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/y2iC82gN0d0PER500N00020" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://icann.org</a> as of <strong>15 March 2021</strong>. If you have links bookmarked to these reports or pages, you will be redirected to the <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/F28RP003L0C0g2i2000EdN0" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">Open Data platform</a>.</p> <p><strong>If you have an automated script</strong> that downloads registry reports from <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/y2iC82gN0d0PER500N00020" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://icann.org</a>, <strong>you will need to modify your script</strong> to use the ICANN Open Data API to download the reports. Before you can access the Open Data platform, you must create <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/F28RP006O0C0g2i2000EdN0" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">an ICANN Account</a>. Once you have an account, you will be able to use the Open Data platform API.</p> <h3>Why Are We Making This Change?</h3> <p>A goal of the Open Data platform is to increase the transparency and accessibility of data managed by ICANN org. The platform's creation is the result of collaborative work between the community and the org. ICANN org <a href="https://newsalerts.icann.org/m000NP20002d2Pg8Ri70CE0" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">launched</a> the Open Data platform in March 2020 with a series of datasets.</p> <p>Registered users can search, browse, view, download, and analyze the data, according to the platform's terms and conditions and the license(s) applied to each dataset. Registration also allows users to save customized analysis, receive notifications when selected datasets are updated, generate API keys, and view API quota usage.</p> <h3>Background on Registry Reports</h3> <p>Registry operators provide a set of monthly reports per generic top-level domain name (gTLD) to ICANN org. The monthly reports include the <strong>Per-Registrar Transactions Report</strong> and <strong>Registry Functions Activity Report</strong>. ICANN org publishes these reports, on a monthly basis, three months after the end of the month to which the reports provided by the registry operators relate. This is done to preserve the confidentiality of the reported information during that period as required by the registry agreement.</p> <p>Monthly reports consist of data that reflects the state of the registry at the end of the month.
