Hi All
On yesterdays call  we mentioned the  the ICANN cut backs on the Global
Indigenous Fellowship .  Eduardo  mentioned to Goran the loss and that  we
need to provide feedback to the Fellowship Programme.

Please make the effort to comment on the program, especially having the
program to provide a provision for the spaces for the North American
Indigenous community.

ICANN Fellowship

Abstract
Nearly all official responses indicate that the Fellowship Program’s
objective should be to bring new active, committed and engaged participants
to the ICANN community’s policy development processes.* There is also an
emphasis on attracting and supporting those with financial need from
developing, underserved, or underrepresented regions in order to enhance
diversity in ICANN processes, develop global awareness of ICANN, and to
give opportunities to those who could not otherwise have participated.*
Many responses also specify an objective to educate, inform, and prepare
new participants and to facilitate the integration of program alumni into
the community and its working groups. Individual comments reiterated
similar objectives, as well as the potential to bring in future leaders and
stewards of the public interest.
