[NA-Discuss] Nominations 2016

I echo Leah's sentiments. I have been in NARALO from its inception and I
have noticed that during the monthly call when the opening day of the
nominations period is announced, a slate of favored candidates are presented
in some manner. While perhaps not procedural infirm, it does seem to send a
signal that may deter others from throwing in their hat.

Hello Leah

The nomination process is an open process. My nominations were driven by
the fact that each of these individuals is not only dedicated but doing a
stellar job on our behalf. Further even as a newbie still learning the
ropes, I am familiar with the work of our North American representatives and
their inclusiveness of underrepresented constituents within our region like
Native Public Media. An important motivation for my nominations.

I welcome other NARALO regions to place forward nominations for our
collective consideration.

To that regard, you have time to make your own nominations as the elections
are still some time away.

All my best,

Loris Taylor

Hello Lori and all:

This team has done tremendous work, they probably should continue and I have
utmost respect for each one of them, but why does this feel a bit rushed and
skewed in Chapters NA region representation?
