Darlene:  

IMHO inreach and outreach are particularly important.   There are a
couple of questions that come to mind:

- From what communities are/should we trying to recruit?

- Are the ALS's themselves reaching out (my own, included, frankly)?

- Are we actively seeking out independent members who might make a
contribution?
