If memory serves, I believe that NARALO got allocated $1,000 for doing podcasts or something similar for outreach this year so this idea isn't out of the realm of possibility.

well ... of course there is money, but we've no idea how little it takes
to take just the silly footage i shot in singapore and cut a 3minshort
that says "here's how the alac works" or "here's kurt and alac", and a
news reader calmly and coherently runs through a three minute read of
alac-esque issues, useful icann trivia, and needs only the sound track
replaced for the same or similar translated 3min text read in a basket
of languages.

how many hits would it get on the social platforms? i've no idea, but as
a cost item it seems tractible.

somehow "america's funniest videos" runs off of worse video plus hosts
providing voice over with a laugh track and manage to make money, so it
may not be over the horizon of the possible.
