De todos los temas listados - y dejando de lado la generalidad de "gobernanza de Internet" - el último que les preocupa es la rendición de cuentas de ICANN y el primero, si acaso, es la disponibilidad, el uso y el posible abuso de los datos de registrantes de nombres de dominio en "whois".<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>De hecho la situación es más grave: lo que proecupa a los usuarios genrales es el abuso con los nombres, el phishing, la especulación que les impide regtistrar nombres de dominio para sus actividades, familias y negocios, y que el DNS resuelva nombres a direcciones IP sin fallar. ¡Y eso ni siquiera aparece en la agenda del ALAC!<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Si alguien necesita evidencia de que urge reformar el At Large, y en particular LACRALO, no puede negarla: está allí, en esa lista.
