logros de desarrollo de nuestras sociedades; que no se haya borrado por completo, a nuestras fallas. Es recomendable, como siempre, leer el documento del Banco Mundial y no sólo la nota de prensa. Los bibliotecarios saben que la fuente primaria tiene mucho
que enseñarnos y es primordial acudir a ella.</div>

<div style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Un ejemplo clásico del debate acerda del significado de los indicadores de este tipo, si bien más específico para nuestros temas, está en que Jamaica aparece sistemáticamente como uno de los países con mayor desarrollo con
base en el indicador de densidad de usuarios de las telecomunicaciones, uno de los más altos del mundo. ¿Se debería usar un indicador como ése en lugar de los del Banco Mundial en nuestro ámbito? ¿qué consecuencias tendría? ¿qué disparidades tiene con otros
indicadores y qué implicaciones tienen estas disparidades?</div>

<div style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Lo que ICANN deba hacer dependerá de los distintos casos de uso, según las decisiones que tome con base en este criterio. Hay que estar atentos. Podemos prever que el debate se extienda y que dé lugar a nuevas políticas. Ojalá
