too sad. I've called upon you to diminish the level of aggression and you
have failed again. Your text can be found dismissive of long-time efforts
of many in the community, while we have no equivalent evidence of efforts
toward multilingualism on your side. Also I fail to see how you are
credentialled to judge language mastery but would be happy to see proof.
I hope those who feel personally or collectively insulted will take this
matter to the Ombudsman immediately. I am prepared to do so myself if this
scaling-up of insult and dismissiveness does not stop immediately, for the
benefit of the community.
So, let's try another tack (apologies for introducing this nautical term,
not a typo for "track" case you were thinking so.) It's a long time since
we saw a policy contribution from your organization. We are having an
important policy discussion. Wouldn't it be constructive that you, after a
quick consultation with your organization's membership, put forward a
contribution? I guess it will also be exemplary in your use of the language
so we can all adjust our standards upward.
The main list policy discussion is related to finding the top 5 risks that
we may recommend the ICANN Board's Risk Committee to consider.
I have also asked whether the basis for inclusion of countries in LACRALO
may have obsoleted. While that is not an urgent policy consideration, it
may be useful to ponder in order to find a more constructive outlet for
what I read as your irritation and you may consider only an objective
expression.
Again let me underline that we should all strive to prove ourselves, the
organizations we represent, and LACRALO as a whole, to be a constructive
force and duly represent and promote the interests of our geographical
region's Internet users.
