Alejandro,

Sorry about that but you got an unintended signal from me. I did not
volunteer to be coordinator, I volunteered to participate. If I no longer
wanted to be part of the WG, I would have stated that clearly as I believe
any of those who volunteered would have also done.

I think we should move forward in such a manner that we avoid omitting
people who are willing to volunteer. Seeing that message may well send a
message to me that there is a plot to me out; as it may send a similar
message to those receiving it as well. My first instinct was not to respond.

I think we should move forward by notifying all those who volunteered of the
first meeting. If they don't want to be part of it, let them decide; do not
do anything that may cause them to be automatically left out.

I am not sure that LACRALO is on the brink of any existence. Even if it is
and you care anything about it, you should ensure that you do all in your
power not to take it any further over the edge.

As you said, let us move on.

briefly: when you mentioned that you wouldn't be available to coordinate the
group it was a signal for me that people's conditions may have changed in
the many months that have gone by since the group was formed, as proved
already by some of the members.

Also people may not want to work with the new coordinators, esp. since we
had to step in when no-one stood for election. Happy to hand it over to you
or go through an election but please make up your mind.

Let's move on. Let's find ONE thing this community can start doing instead
of finding new grounds for complaint. We are at the brink of the mere
existence of this organization.

Colegas,

en reunión por teleconferencia que acaba de terminar convinimos reiniciar
los trabajos del grupo de planeación estratégica de LACRALO.

Para ello creo conveniente que los miembros originales confirmen su voluntad
y disponibilidad para seguir participando; la lista es la siguiente:

Alejandro Pisanty a quien se añade Erik Huesca quien en principio ha
anunciado que estará disponible para coordinar el grupo.

Me parece que debemos continuar los trabajos solamente con aquéllos que
explícitamente confirmen que siguen en estos trabajos, antes del próximo
viernes, 24 de agosto, a la medianoche del punto más occidental de la
región, que es Tijuana si no me equivoco.
