Comparto los puntos mas importantes sobre la reunión que acaba de terminar.

Abiertos para comentarios:
a. DSSA WG Fase 1, cierra el 13 de setiembre. Se esperará hasta que se
contrate al nuevo consultor, luego ALAC verá la posibilidad de comentar.
b. SSAC Report puntos sin dominio, cierra el 23 de setiembre. Sergio
comentó que LACRALO tiene la intención de hacer un statement. Tiene que
estar listo para 3 o 4 días.


Se aprobó la elección de Holly Raiche (APRALO) como Chair del RRR (Registrant
Rights and Responsibilities WG).


El RG decidió no comentar sobre la aplicación de Amazon.

Academia de ICANN: Hay mucha discucion en la lista sobre el contenido. En
unos dias tendrán los resultados.


Aceptación Universal de los gtlds: Crear conciencia sobre la diversidad de
dominios que se ven en la raiz. Hay un panfleto, por favor hagan sus
comentarios y preguntas hasta la segunda semana de setiembre.

La votación para el representante del NomCom empieza hoy hasta el 1 de
setiembre. 4 regiones reeligen a sus representantes y una debe votar entre

Current open policy forums:

i. DSSA Working Group Phase 1 Report   - Comment Period closes 13
September. The
WG will wait for the Risk Managament Committe to appoint a consultant.
After this, the ALAC will look into the possibility of a comment. At this
stage there is to be no comment.

ii. SSAC Report on Dotless Domains - Comment Period closes 23 September.
Sergio expressed the intentions of LACRALO to make a comment on this
Statement. We would need to have this within 3 or 4 days.

Endorsed New Chair of WG : Holly Raiche to become the new chair of the
Registrant Rights and Responsibilities WG

The RG decided to not comment on amazon's applications.

Icann Academy:  We will find out in the next few days where we stand
exactly. There has been much discussion regarding content.

Universal Acceptance of all TLD:Raise awareness regarding the diversity fo
domains that we see in the root. This is to ensure they are all accepted
int the root zone.

At-Large Delegates to the 2013 NomCom: Vote on the NomCom Rep starts today,
