Just to add that NCSG, is another important space to provide IMPUT in ICANN.

I want also to copy part of the text, the point related to "INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS". It says: 

4. Organizations that are represented in ICANN through another Supporting
Organization or another GNSO Stakeholder Group. However, organizations and
individuals that participate in ICANN’s At Large Advisory Committee are not
excluded by this criterion, though they may be excluded by the other three.

The competing NCSG “cyber-safety” charter proposed by Cheryl Preston (BYU) and the CP80 Foundation (Ralph Yarro) has been designed to ensure that its vocal minority calling for ICANN to undertake global content regulation in the name of “cyber-safety” will be guaranteed GNSO Council seats despite opposition from the rest of the Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group. 
> We ask for your support because we want the stakeholder group that represents non-commercial interests to be able to generate sound, consensual, and collaborative policy and decisions that are representative of all of the members in the stakeholder group.  We also need your support because the crusaders of online content regulation via CP80/Yarro are taking advantage of the GNSO Restructuring efforts as an opportunity to impose their agenda of online content regulation via ICANN by hard-wiring it onto the GNSO Policy Council.  Without the traditional voices of human rights, consumer protections, and civil society weighing in during the Public Comment Period, the ICANN Board of Directors could be persuaded to accept CP80/Yarro’s proposal for a stakeholder group petition and significantly set back the fight for online freedom by over-representation of narrowly focused special-interest groups who lack broad support from all non-commercial stakeholders.
> In summary, the NCUC’s petition for a Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group is the best proposal of those submitted because it:

> Was drafted in consultation with dozens of civil society organizations representing all corners of the globe and went through numerous evolutions and thus represents a true consensus document, submitted by the entire NCUC (over 70 members, accept 1), while the competing cyber-safety petition is a submission of a single organization (CP80) from Utah.
