With regard to:

Yes, I volunteered to be penholder for the "Evolving the Governance of the Root Server System” PC. Not only do I find it a very interesting topic which I’d like to learn more about and don’t mind spending some time on, it seems t me a no brainer that the (governance of the) root server system is fundamental to the functioning of the DNS and At-Large therfore *must* take note of this PC and respond.

I did not however commit to sharing an outline during next Tuesday’s call. Besides the fact that the public comment period closes on the 9th of August and we’re not in that much of a hurry IMO, I seriously doubt whether I have time to come with a proposal on such short notice in the first place.
