Dear Alejandro,

Unless I misunderstood the process, The primary purpose of nominating and electing a Secretary Elect is for that person to learn the responsibilities of the position over a two year period. Rest assured that we already started to brief him on the realities of LACRALO...despite the time challenge of wearing other hats which seems to be standard fare in the Caribbean but clearly does not exist anywhere else in this region.

It should be easy for them to decide in which channel you want to be included, based on the language of your email, but in any case, mention it (English, Spanish, French).
