Dear Alejandro
I think your quotation is relevant and we will try to give an objective and motivated story value to a program that should be viewed with the prism of democratization and participation.

Preparing the community for the undeniable possibility that the counterpart has arguments:

1.
What effect does the cancellation of the program have?
less travel or just less bureaucracy? If travel is reduced,
Is it the cancellation effect of the program or a budgetary readjustment?

2. if you were to argue in defense of the program,
What would be the essential points of your contribution that would stand out? What I record by heart is the incorporation of ONE Haitian organization that can be attributed to the CROP (P) activity of Alberto Sot. And during the years that CROPP was in force,
in what did LACRALO improve as part of ICANN? (as a reference: the situation of LACRALO reached the point of requiring the intervention of two professional mediators, one year after its inception remains unfinished). And the participation of a sub-region that has the most votes has practically vanished in that same year.

3.promptly,
What can be noted as an increase in LACRALO interventions in the ICANN PDPs attributable to CROPP?
what other objectives of the program were satisfied, and could not be without it?

Objective arguments for greater success, if possible.

Dear Le + on Felipe
What do you think if we jointly prepare a draft for discussion, evaluation and contributions from the community.

Hi Humberto and Alberto,

I think a joint statement plus one from the ALAC would have a lot of weight.

On this side I am also following up.

Alberto,

Even when I'm on vacation, I've been reviewing this issue and pending emails.

We agree that we must make the respective claim. We'll see if we can do all the RALOS together too.

Dear, it has been confirmed that the CROP program will no longer be in the next ICANN budget.
I suggest to the leadership of LACRALO to consider this situation, in order to make a claim to be considered necessary.

Below the explanation after a query.

Best regards

Alberto Soto

Do not.In considering the cost of support to constituent travelers
in the draft FY19 budget, as the locations of ICANN Public
meetings in FY19 are more expensive than in FY18 and
ICANN's resources are stable, ICANN has suggested to preserve
the core constituent travel support to SOs / ACs to participate in
ICANN Public meetings but eliminate the fund of the CROP,
among other reductions.
