We have not received opposition to the MOU that is going to be signed between LACRALO and LACNIC at the end of this month.


For this reason, we approved the draft worked in collaboration with LACNIC and we will continue into the signing process.  A copy of the document shall be posted at the wiki.

Dear LACRALO members,

As previously reported, LACRALO reached an agreement with LACNIC to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). In our view, this MOU will bring multiple benefits to LACRALO. The signing of this document will be made at the LACNIC 27 meeting that will take place in Foz do Iguazú from May 22 to May 26, 2017.
LACRALO approved a version at the beginning of 2016, which was sent to LACNIC. LACNIC CEO, Oscar Robles, made some minor changes to the MOU agreement draft. As the 2016 version is different from the agreed version with LACNIC, we would like to initiate a consensus consultation to approve the MOU agreed with LACNIC this year 2017. This consensus request will finalize on May 1st at 23:00 UTC.
