 We would like to ask your opinion on the regional electoral calendar 
 LACRALO leaders. 






 As previously stated, it would be very useful for the program 
 Regional leadership LACRALO could be synchronized with the other 
 RALOs and the ALAC. Do allow the NomCom know what ALAC and RALO leaders 
 They would be in a leadership position chosen to take this into account when 
 NomCom select charges. It would also allow staff 
 At-Large support us more efficiently. 






 Then two options are presented. We believe that both options must 
 be voted by members of LACRALO. However, we would like to ask your 
 opinion on which prefers its reasons for selecting option: 






 * The first option is to hold elections in May with synchronization 
 ICANN achieved in full 60 * 






 In this case, the election of Regional Leadership should take place 
 during May and not in February. Elected leaders would take their positions 
 immediately after the close of the Annual General Meeting 2017 
 (ICANN 60). This would mean that the current President and the Secretary of 
 LACRALO remain in office until ICANN 60. This would allow 
 transition period if new leaders are chosen. Both leaders 
 current as newcomers are supported to travel to the Assembly 
 Annual general. 






 * The second option is to hold elections in May with full 
 ICANN synchronization achieved in 63 * 






 In this case, the election of Regional Leadership should take place 
 during May and not in February. LACRALO elected leaders take their 
 positions immediately in June 2017. The newly elected leaders 
 would take office on June 1, 2017 with a term of duration 
 end at the Annual General Meeting of 2018 at ICANN 63.Support for 
 travel to ICANN would begin in June 59 This is an interim solution 
 where full synchronization occurs at ICANN 63. 






 We would appreciate your opinion before 13 March 2017. After that, 
 we will open a voting process to decide which is the best choice for 
 our RALO.
