 I think the proposal is sensible.Having worked with the team that organizes the agenda for ICANN meetings on ALAC and the At-Large community, I have observed that holding monthly face-to-face meetings within the ICANN meeting is not in many cases the best use Of an hour of so little time that we have to solve different subjects with the facility that give the meetings face to face. 


 In this context, I suggest supporting the pilot so that only the RALO in whose region the ICANN meeting is held will allocate one hour to its monthly meeting on the agenda of the ICANN meeting. The rest of RALOs will, of course, hold their monthly meeting but opt \u200b\u200bfor the traditional teleconference in the days before or after the ICANN meeting.

 Dear All, 


 During ICANN 58, ALAC leaders and Regional Representatives discussed the need for more time to discuss joint issues as a team during ICANN meetings or for Working Group meetings. 


 In order to open more time in the At-Large meeting calendar, the suggestion was made to start a pilot to reduce the number of monthly RALO meetings in ICANN meetings, particularly during the Community Forum ( Meeting of March) and the Policy meeting (June meeting) 


 The suggestion is that only the RALO where the ICANN meeting is held will have its monthly meeting face-to-face during the ICANN meeting. 


 RALOs who need to plan events to be held either in the months following the ICANN meeting or at the next ICANN meeting may have informal sessions if they so wish.


 The monthly meetings of the RALOs continue on a teleconference. 


 The ALAC is asking RALO leaders to ask their members if they have an opinion about NOT implementing this pilot and informing the ALAC until Tuesday 2 May
