Dear all,
To prepare for the selection of a member of the Board selected by
At-Large sitting at the meeting of October 2017 Annual General Alan
Greenberg, President of the ALAC, has asked staff to make a

It asks the RALO leadership to send a list of their candidates

The details of the two groups are:
1) Selection Process Director Committee (BMSPC)
According to Article 19.2 of the Rules of Procedure of the ALAC
(2016):
"The ALAC shall appoint a Committee Member of the Selection Process
Council (BMSPC), which will oversee the entire selection process that includes
culminating election process, but except responsibilities
ALAC specifically retained by the Board or the candidate administered
Evaluation Committee. The composition of the BMSPC be regionally
balanced and the committee will be populated with two representatives from each region
selected by both the ALAC and RALOs.for each region, a member
substitute that can be selected to replace a member of the same
region which for some reason is not able to participate fully, and such
replacement will be at the discretion of the President BMSPC in accordance with the
BMSPC guidelines. ALAC shall appoint the chair of the BMSPC. "
The group is open to both members of the ALAC and At-Large members

"19.3 The ALAC Board shall appoint a candidate Evaluation Committee
(BCEC) to compile an initial list of candidates for the election of
seat 15.a new BCEC was convened consisting of two delegates
selected by each of the selected chair THIN plus by
