 Dear,

To express my support for Lance Hinds, for me it is worth mentioning the necessary balance of representation in the LAC region. Yesterday he said that we should encourage the participation of members of the ALS and this is a good opportunity to support this nomination.

As members know, wholeheartedly backed the candidacy of Lance as LACRALO Representative to ALAC. It's not just because he's my friend, but from a record of concern about things that concern us at the regional level and their record of contribution to the group.

He called last night raised discomfort I've always had with the focus on LACRALO to discourage participation because of a perceived lack of political purity.

I always have and always vehemently reject such views.

If we had a measure of the purity and consistently applied - and somewhat hypocritically - since 2006, the registry will identify and display multiple members who have served thru LACRALO ALAC would have been disqualified. I encourage all who seek the truth to read the EOI / SOIs with care.

If the measure is effective participation, again, I challenge anyone to put their record against Lance.Lanza was in the party who worked long time to draw the first Rules and Procedures in San Juan. And early in the day when we were developing without much in the way, it was a consistent voice in LACRALO calls.

I was one of those worker bees showed up for work on ATLAS II and retired from the field until 02 am, to bed and leaving Lance at work finishing the ATLAS II declaration. The only reason for this is largely unknown is because it was not, as usual, very few of us take the hit where it counted, work on behalf of the At-Large and LACRALO.

I am absolutely sure that none of these points may be contradicted success. Lanza retains my confidence as an excellent choice for the ALAC.
