[lac-discuss-en] Many Webinars on IANA Stewardship Transition? Why? Which ones to attend?

Dear Alberto,

I share your disappointment that the three Webinars which will be held
by the CWG will only be held in English. Fatima Cambronero, member of
the CWG, raised this with ICANN Staff in charge of the CWG and the
response received was that there was not enough time to arrange for
interpretation.

However - please note that the Capacity Building Webinars which are
organised by At-Large will all be interpreted. So today's Webinar with
Patrik Fältström that will explain the different IANA contracts and give
a great introduction to LACRALO members about IANA will be interpreted
in Spanish and in French. Wednesday 3 December 2014 13:00 - 14:00 UTC
See here: https://community.icann.org/x/2zrxAg

Please also note that the second Capacity Building Webinar which will
explain the proposed Statement from At-Large to the Public Consultation
that has just started and will end on 21 December 2014, will also be
interpreted in Spanish and French.

I look forward to see many members of LACRALO on both the English and
the Spanish channels of our Capacity Building Webinars.

Best regards,

Olivier
