 working group meeting of the LAC Regional Strategy 
 last Friday.

 develop a Strategic Plan for the region from Latin America and Caribbean 
 with a horizon of three years, in accordance with the needs and 
 requirements of the stakeholders in the region. 

 In principle within time allocated to achieve the Plan Estratgico 
 end of March 2013, to submit a plan that results in 
 definitive work of this group in the meeting of ICANN in Beijing, the 
 first days of April 2013.

 throughout our region, the objectives that should be included in this

 participation of regional organizations in ICANN.

 should be included in the strategy of LAC: 

 1. Promote the development and deployment of infrastructure for criticism 
 DNS in the region. 

 2. Ensure the level of involvement of all participacine 
 regional actors (including 

 Governments) relevant ICANN. 

 3. Develop, in conjunction with the appropriate instances, an agenda 
 Regional Security and Stability in Internet. 

 4. Create partnerships and mechanisms with existing instances cooperacin 
 Internet development in the region. 

 5. Insert topics of interest in the region in ICANN.

 6. Awakening interest in regional governments in ICANN issues 
 apoyndose on existing local and regional initiatives led 
 by NGOs in the region. 

 7. Being part of ICANN decisions have a role as reginy 
 principal. 

 8. Promote capacity building and organizational strengthening 
 pblicos agencies, private, social and academicians linked to 
 Internet. 

 9. Carry concientizacina understanding and respect of the region 
 benefits of involvement and participation in ICANN, ascomo 
 regarding how the POLICIES / ICANN decisions affect 
 about the various actors. 

 10. Estratgico Support for the creation of providers RESOLUTION 
 Dispute (UDRP and / or URS) based in the region, and adapted to the 
 needs of the region (language, cost, cultural norms) for disputes 
 involving existing gTLDs and new gTLDs. 

 As vern not have much time to do the work of 
 this group so we want to solicit their collaboration as soon 
 possible. We understand that these dates are a bit complicated to be few 
 of holidays and vacations for some of the passes of our region. 

 I want to propose that again please review the documents 
 draft strategy and focus on the objectives of ylneas 
 action that directly related estnms LACRALO. We will 
 able to identify the needs, criticize and make suggestions for improvements 
 ms on what we know and that is the reality or realities 
 affect our RALO. This will allow us to prioritize these issues and 
 focus our contributions to the strategy group.
