Dear All,

A reminder that the deadline for comments on ICANN's Draft Strategic
Plan for 2012 to 2015 is November 17 2011.

A 32 minute discussion on the Strategic Plan was done at the beginning
of the ALAC Policy Discussion Part II session at the ICANN Dakar
meeting
on Tuesday 25 October 2011 - see http://dakar42.icann.org/node/26923
for the audio recording of that discussion.

Each year, ICANN reviews and updates its three-year Strategic Plan.
After the public comment period on the draft strategic plan ends on
November 17 2011, ICANN will analyse the comments, amend the strategic
plan and submit the strategic plan to the ICANN board for approval in
December 2011.

ICANN will then develop an Operating Plan and Budget to accomplish the
goals and priorities of the adopted Strategic Plan.

Therefore, identifying goals and priorities (within the framework of
ICANN's draft Strategic Plan) that are important to LACRALO and
At-Large is crucial if we want ICANN to support/develop operational
plans to achieve these goals and priorities.

has been created as a central point for information on the four
strategic focus areas as identified by ICANN as well as the key issues
that members of
the At-Large community should address in their comments.
