Thanks Bro Carlton. I take note of your words. I Agree with you in the particular moment of LACRALO and the importance to improve it position into ICANN consideration. Was the point that I have had in account, when proposed JOSE ARCE. I know you want the best for LACRALO like me, so the idea is the same even with different solutions. Could we propose a shared presidency ! would be a good exit for this crossroads and .... all happy. A big hug

My Brother Carlos:
I understand your position and take note of your concerns. Suffice to say, we differ sharply in our views on the value of Vanda's experience and how the exploitation of her wide and varied ICANN experience may help the LACRALO organization.

I do not doubt your commitment to the cause. Neither do I doubt your ability to think strategically. I have worked ever since to liquidate my own involvement in ICANN and when my time comes, I will be ready to take my leave. But I really do believe this Interim period is critical to raising LACRALO's credibility within ICANN in general and the At-Large community in particular.

I had to alert Vanda to what I was thinking. I can tell you she was reluctant at first but agreed on condition she would serve only for the Interim period. I have committed a lot of my time and resources to LACRALO, from birth until now. So my concerns are almost visceral. My endgame remains: strengthening LACRALO in a particularly difficult period for us. Vanda has what it takes. And that is what I'm after.

This is a very rare moment when we disagree. But my fondest regard and greatest personal respect for you remains untroubled.

Warmest,
Carlton

Dear Bro: I`m really sad after saw your email yesterday night. Sad because I can`t share it. The reasons: particularly I think the time for Vanda is out, is needed that her think in the new generations. I recognize her work, her capacities and skills. but as you said in your previous email brutally frankly: the game is over for Vanda, after to be ALAC interim, Board Liaison, currently NomCom. I believe the participation of new participants is more important than old ones, specially in order to add participation and engagement. Vanda have an high compromise with the LAC region, and she can participate from outside and will be welcome, her experience would be a enormous help for the new participants. We need to recognize the growth of new values, and say thank you the old ones. The time for some LAC members finish and would be good that their recognize this situation, not only good, ethical also, and an act of greatness.

I call to bet for future, on this sense I can`t share with you my Brother Carlton, l with all my sorrow.

All the best for you, are my permanent wishes
