[lac-discuss-en] Call for Volunteer from LACRALO for Budget and Finance Subcommittee

Dear all,

Today is the deadline to send a member of LACRALO to the ALAC Finance and
Budget Subcommittee.



Two people have volunteered for this position: Cintra Sooknanan of Trinidad
and Tobago Computer Society, and Jessel Ackbarali of ICTS (recommended by
Damian Narinesingh, also of ICTS.



My personal opinion is we should send Jessel, provided that he should make a
commitment to actively participate in this Subcommittee, because this would
be a way to encourage the participation of ALSs that are not active.
Otherwise, Cintra and it ALS have been actively working in different WG.



How are we to decide which of the two people we should send? Should we vote?
Can we send two people? Should we decide among all members of LACRALO?
