Dear All, 

We would like to offer our best congratulations to Sergio Salinas Porto for
his election to the ALAC!  We very much look forward to working with him. 

We would also like to thank all candidates for their efforts during the
election. The large number of candidates for the available position of
LACRALO representative to the ALAC shows the high interest in leadership
positions among the LACRALO membership. 

Also, many thanks to Andres and Dev who worked closely with At-Large staff
on the calculation of the election results.

Dear All,

The election of the LACRALO representative to serve on the At-Large Advisory
Committee (ALAC) for a two year term beginning at the end of the December
2010 ICANN meeting to the 2012 ICANN's Annual General Meeting has concluded
and the results are as follows :

28 out of 34 ALSes in LACRALO voted in this election, which is 85% of the
electorate.

These votes for the four candidates have been tallied as per rule 12.9 of
the RoP (each vote is weighted with a country coefficient), and the results
for the four candidates of the weighted vote are as follows :

Matias Altamira Gigena : 10.55 %
José Luis Barzallo : 7.78%
Lance Hinds : 26.39%
Sergio Salinas Porto : 38.37 %
