Thanks to offer to translate the pamphlet to the Portuguese. Nevertheless,
lamentably we will not be able to provide the translations
we in the future as Sergio requested.
The Portuguese is not a language that the ICANN maintains and for thatreason, does not seem to us
adapted to use the resources to print a Portuguese version of the pamphlet.
We have Spanish interpretation for the teleconferencings of the ALAC, of
LACRALO so for some of discussions AT-Large. All
declarations of the ALAC so many of official documents of
ICANN are translated the Spanish. We have interpretation synchronizes to
Spanish in the conferences of the ICANN and exists a Spanish version of
atlarge.icann.org although still is far from being perfect. Shortly: it is
possible to participate in AT-Large knowing the Spanish. It will be very difficult
to participate in LACRALO without knowing neither ingles nor Spanish. We would not be able
to offer to the people attracted by the pamphlet in Portuguesesuitable remedies to them
in order to participate in LACRALO.
It is a lamentable fact that participants AT-Large will have to know one
of the languages that are used in the ICANN to be able to participate in way
effective. This situation appears in most of the forums
international. The experience that lives the italianohablantes,
germanohablantes, people who speak Japanese, Hindu, Turkish are similar.
We felt that we cannot print pamphlet LACRALO in Portuguese and hoped
that they understand our position and the reasons behind our decision.

mine own one, thank you very much, has been very reconfortanteto see the expression and
