Actually no, as Wendy has been nominated by EURALO and has accepted. We can support anyone from anywhere in the world, and the ALAC will make their decision. We can also send forward multiple names - we don't need to send only one.
The issue re Board member and liaison was also clarified earlier - the position NOW is liaison. The board positin will be sorted later - there's a lot of stuff to work out before the AtLarge Board seat is actually implemented.
