Matías,
thanks for this note on the specific work in the NomCom of
representatives who we are about to to choose.
It is certain that as goes for the first time to the NomCom not us they can say much
of how they are going to work.
However, and indeed by the responsibility that implies the activity
of the NomCom, there are other things that are essential to explore. At least
I postulate two:
1. The work in the NomCom is based on experience, judgment on people and
organizations, and capacity to summon interesting candidates -
novel and simultaneously experimented, of a high ethical level- for
positions that the NomCom fills. How candidates can both proposed
until now documenting to these qualities and capacities?
2. The work in the NomCom takes to the selection of people for diverse
positions, not only the "Board" or Directive Advice, but also
support organizations. Which identify our candidates like
the main problems of these different organizations, and with what
criterion would choose, as well, people to whom the NomCom designates?
I believe that this is the minimum that there is to ask before choosing. Hopefully
the candidates Jose Ovid Salgueiro and Cintra Sooknanan, and any other
that still one registers, they can answer these questions, thus is briefly.
