Dear Colleagues:
Please follow the link to see the analysis of the response to the Summit
Questionnaire that was executed in the summertime. In addition to looking
closely at the results from LACRALO, I encourage you to also examine the
global results. There are different expectations from all over for the ALS
Summit, an event that will bring together all AT-Large for the first time.
This analysis is intended to help drive the agenda at the Summit which takes
place in Mexico City in March 2009.

It also allows us to prepare LACRALO interests and to manage our
expectations.

I congratulate Nick and Matthias for this piece of work.

Best,
Carlton

Dear all,

The updated summit questionnaire results have been posted online under:

https://st.icann.org/summit-wg/index.cgi?summit_questionnaire_results

These are the main changes with respect to the version published on 1
November:

* all the 81 ALS answers we received have been incorporated
* you now find a regional breakdown of the results which allows you to
compare your region with others
* additionally to the average sum of preferences, we also added a position
table at the bottom of the spreadsheet, which allows you to compare the
number of times an answer was the first choice of the respondents. This
method can lead to different results and may be of use to the preparations
of the summit. Thanks to Didier Kasolé for pointing this out to us and for
providing us with the formula.

All received answers were included in the document. In case we received an
answer from somebody in his or her personal capacity or if the ALS has not
yet been officially accredited, the answers are highlighted in light blue.

Regards,

Nick Ashton-Hart, Matthias Langenegger
