Sergio

English

I see from this side of the tropic of capricorn, the spring is saying this!!
I agree with Jose Luis taht there are many important things to discuss and work on our RALO, and I think that one of these important things is to know where we stand the internet users with representation in ICANN.

I think that we all know what Internauta Argentina and myself think about the issue of representatives of business and its relationship with users.

We disagree that in the same place where the Civil Society representative of internet users discussed and defined positions, are operating representatives of the companies with which many users we are in situations unfair to blame for their actions.

The companies aren't our enemy.

Only should have a diferent place for discussion and don't dye their interests from desitions that we take in ALAC.

After that the Civil Society of Internet Users discuss, we can exchange ideas with business, but they can't, under none circumstace, be with a exposed or hidden representation of companies within the RALOS.

we firmly believe that the organizations of Civil Society representatives of Internet end-users should be incorporated and represented by theese end-users and not by managers or employers, if this was the case, that organization wouldn't be represented by an organization and users throughout if a serious organization that defends its corporate sector.

This is central and makes management transparency of ICANN.

If not, I wonder, So that ICANN is open to participation by users in closed states? Why ICANN doesn't allow us to participate on an equal footing betwen governmennts, Internet Users and companies, I mean,a tripartite equal co-government?

Clearly, ICANN has defined that this is the place for discussion of common social policies of ICANN of CSOs of Internet users rather than businesses.

If an organization is said to represent the Internet end-users is funded by business leaders and their representatives are rented from companies or organizations of the ICT sector, it is highly probable that her opinion this tinged with bias in favor of economic power.

Globally defined that the Civil Society Organizations, promote good practices, some of those good practices is to defend the positions of the sector representing the organization and not suspected of any act which is contrary to the spirit that drives its representativeness.

I always give the same example that illustrates very well what I say, aself can't be a sindical leader of a car manufacturer and their salaries and financing of the sindicate is facilitated by General Motors, Honda, Daewoo, Ford, etc..

Those who worked alongside the people, of Internet users have made clear that the power line are the weakest link, and that we must look after the interests of those who do Internet every day, the communities we create, perform tasks solidarity, we promote learning centers of the information society and generate millions in consumption which translates into gains for successful companies in the sector.

If not understood and accepted this as the top motivator, can do little to end users of the Internet.

No more greeting Attn.

Sergio
