Tal y como lo solicitaste, a continuación mi opinión, la cual es
absolutamente a título personal y deslindo toda responsabilidad de
Alfa Redi.
Lamento que el debate haya derivado en un ataque hacia una ?persona? y
no, como hubiera sido lo correcto y alturado, hacia una ?idea o
posición?. Ello me obliga a responder tanto a la persona como a su
posición.
Como estudiante de derecho debes saber que quien alega algo, debe
probarlo. Pues bien, en tu mensaje haz alegado algo que no he visto
que hayas probado, mucho menos fundamentado con argumentos o razones
sólidas que la respalden; es por ello que me atrevo a decir que tu
mensaje, para mi, no tiene ningún sustento mas allá del ?ruido en tu
cabeza? y no resiste el mas mínimo análisis lógico, mucho menos
jurídico (salvo mas docta opinión de algún estudioso legal).
De otro lado, rechazo complemente el cuestionamiento sobre la
participación de CUALQUIER representante o miembro de una ALS, bajo el
pretexto de un supuesto conflicto de intereses como el que mencionas.
Concordar con tu posición creo que significaría un acto
antidemocrático, intolerante, discriminatorio e inaceptable por parte
de alguna ALS o del mismo LACRALO hacia alguno de nosotros, quienes
además de trabajar para nuestra ALS, trabajamos paralelamente para
otras entidades privadas o públicas directamente relacionadas a los
nombres de dominio en nuestros países o en la región. No todos tenemos
la suerte de que nuestra ALS nos pague por nuestra labor de
voluntariado, o si lo hace, que dicho pago cubra todos nuestros gastos.
Bajo tu lógica de análisis y el ?ruido en tu cabeza? creo que yo
también debería ser ?expectorado? (el término es mío y no tuyo) del
LACRALO, pues actualmente soy abogado en Perú de empresas e
instituciones directamente relacionadas con la comercialización de
nombres de dominio, cuyas posiciones son totalmente contrarias a las
que defendemos en el LACRALO, y por lo tanto también habría un
conflicto de intereses en mi caso. Y creo que, en esa línea de
análisis, muchos de nosotros podríamos encajar muy bien.
Sin ánimo de defender a Erick, pues sé que él puede defenderse muy
bien solo, debo mencionar él trabaja para el LACTLD, y no es un
miembro del directorio. Además cuando una persona firma con un cargo,
para mi significa que se pronuncia por dicha entidad, salvo se pruebe
lo contrario; pero como repito acá no se ha probado absolutamente
nada, o es que además vamos a olvidar principios básicos del derecho
también?.
Finalmente no listare todas las cosas que Erick ha hecho en beneficio
de los usuarios finales, a nombre propio, como Alfa Redi o como parte
del LACRALO, desde mucho antes e incluso ahora que trabajar para el
LACTLD, pues muchos las conocemos y están allí para quienes les
interese conocerlas. No reconocer tales aportes creo que es un acto
mezquino.
