Dear LACRALO:

As agreed yesterday on the regional teleconference, nominations are now open
for the seat on the ALAC which Carlos Aguirre currently holds. His term of
office ends on 7th November 2008.

Nominations may be made until 26th September. If you are nominated by
someone other than yourself, you must publicly confirm on the list that you
are willing to serve on or before 26th September.

The Staff of ICANN will setup a vote in the At-Large voting system,
BigPulse, to run from the 27th September to the 1st October 2008.

A list of those whom we believe are the authorised ALS representatives was
previously sent to the list, and the Secretariat of LACRALO confirmed that
this list was accurate. Those listed will be sent individual, secured voting
credentials individually on or before the opening of the voting period.
