[LAC-Discuss] ALAC Representative Vacancy

Dear Colleagues:

The term of office for Jose Ovidio Salgueiro as LACRALO representative on
the ALAC expires at the coming annual ICANN meeting.  As such, there is a
clear vacancy for a 2-year appointment.

 

The Secretariat is proposing that candidates be nominated from now through
the next monthly LACRALO teleconference and a representative be selected at
the next LACRALO teleconference due on Thursday, 18th September at 1300 UTC.

 

The Secretariat further proposes that in the event a consensus
representative cannot be selected, proxy voting be allowed.

Estimados colegas: 
El mandato de José Ovidio Salgueiro LacRALO como representante en la ALAC
expira en el próximo encuentro anual de la ICANN. Como tal, existe una clara
puesto vacante de 2 años de nombramiento. 

La Secretaría propone que los candidatos serán nombrados a partir de ahora a
través de la siguiente LacRALO teleconferencia mensual y un representante se
elegirán en la próxima teleconferencia debido LacRALO el jueves, 18 de
Septiembre a las 13.00 UTC. 

La Secretaría propone además que en el caso de que un representante de
consenso no puede ser seleccionada, la votación por poder ser permitido.
