[LAC-Discuss] RES: NARALO's Response to ICANN Travel Policy Change

But I think that the Nick's response is  taking so much!
We started to deal with this on 4 th August
Why don't we organice  a Skype Teleconference to star to do a draft with the
LACRALO's position?? ( Like NARALO alrready did it!). We need more time than
them because in our region we have at least 2 different lenguage! And we
did't star it yet!
Sorry about if my informations are so poor, but If the Board resolve to do
this, why only the NARALO recived the oficial announcement?? Why Jam had to
tell us about that?? Or we alrready recived too??
In my opinion we are wasting time only waiting for a Nick answer or
announcement. 
Like you said, the layers in our list could start to write, with our help,
the LACRALO's position, and after we only make a revision .

Pero me parece que la respuesta de Nick está tardando mucho!
Empezamos a tratar este tema el 4 de agosto.
Por qué no organizamos uma reunión por Skype para empezar a hacer el
borrador con la posicion de LACRALO ( Como ya lo hizo NARALO!). 
Nosotros necesitamos más tiempo porque en nuestra region tenemos como mínimo
2 idiomas. Y ni siquiera comenzamos!
Discúlpame si mis informaciones son pocas, pero si el Board resolvió hacer
esto, Por qué solamente Naralo recibió el anuncio oficial? 
Por que Jaqueline tuvo que avisarnos sobre esto?
O nosotros también lo recibimos??
Em mi opinión estamos perdiendo tiempo solo esperando que Nick nos diga de
qué se trata!
Como dices, los abogados de nuestra lista con la ayuda de todos podrían
comenzar a redactar "La posición de LACRALO" y cuanto mucho después solo
tendríamos que hacer algunos ajustes.
Qué te parece??

Dear Colleagues:
I have attached a draft of NARALO's resolution to the ICANN Board
documenting their concerns regarding the recent Board resolution on reduced
ICANN Support for At-Large travel to ICANN meetings.

My attempt to translate using Google Translation was not very good so I
shall not release it here. It would however be beneficial to the community
if others of us more skilled in translation attempt this for the greater
good and benefit. 

In my view, we could make the statement as impactful if it was shorter.  The
way to do so is by using 'recitals' that refer to the documented
contradictions of word and deed. [The lawyers among us would be familiar
with this tactic.]  This matter should be high on the ALAC agenda so in the
end, we would expect an ALAC statement that was endorsed by all RALOS.

Even as we are preparing to take this position, I again urge us to await the
definitive document promised by Nick before we let loose.

He adjuntado un proyecto de resolución del NARALO a la Junta de ICANN
documentar sus preocupaciones en relación con la reciente resolución de la
Junta sobre la reducción de Apoyo para la ICANN At-Large viajar a reuniones
de la ICANN.

Mi intento de traducir utilizando traducción de Google no fue muy buena por
