Estimados todos,

Me he mantenido al margen de las conversaciones, observando la forma en que 
se dan los comentarios, no obstante en las ultimas semanas he observado una 
serie de mensajes que me sorprenden por su hostilidad, ya que se han 
convertido en un ir y venir de reclamos que no contribuyen a la función de 
la LACRALO.

Entiendo que el objetivo fundamental de la LACRALO es la representación de 
la comunidad de usuarios de la región en los procesos de ICANN, de manera 
que entiendo que quienes participan a través de las ALS son precisamente 
eso, representantes de los usuarios de la región, de manera que su voto en 
la elección de representantes de la LACRALO ante el ICANN lo realizaron no a 
nombre propio (como quien da un regalo a los elegidos), sino como 
representantes de la comunidad de usuarios.

Ahora bien, creo que un elemento esencial para el trabajo conjunto es 
mantener la cordialidad y recordar que la labor que se ejerce es de 
representación y que tal representación obliga a hacer que el trabajo sea 
exitoso y funcione, por tal motivo creo que la primera regla dentro del 
funcionamiento de la LACRALO debe ser el respeto absoluto entre todos, 
manteniendo la cordialidad entre TODOS.

Efectivamente creo que TODOS conocemos las aptitudes de los elegidos y la 
elección que se hizo de ellos entiendo fue precisamente porque conocemos 
esas aptitudes y las avalamos, de manera que creo que con solo pedir 
cordialmente y sin necesidad de mayores comentarios adicionales a José 
Ovidio que, en adelante sus mensajes sean redactados en inglés y español, el 
estará en la mejor disposición de hacerlo.

Asimismo con seguridad en caso de existir algún otro tema que discutir entre 
los miembros, creo que se puede hacer fuera de la lista común, lo que sin 
duda permitirá un funcionamiento más exitoso de la Organización.

I have remained attentive to the e-mail discussions of the LACRALO, but in 
the last weeks I have been observed many messages that have surprised me for 
their hostility and, because I think they dont contribute to the LACRALO 
objective.

In my understanding, the principal objective of the LACRALO is the 
representation of the Internet User's Community in the LAC region towards 
the ICANN process, thats why I understand that the one's who participates 
through the ALS's are only that, internet user´s representantives for the 
region, in this manner their votes in the election of representatives of 
LACRALO towards ICANN weren´t made in proper name (like a gift to the 
elected representatives), but like an ALS's representatives.

For that, I believe that the essential element for the common work is the 
maintenance of cordiality and respect. We might remember that the job that 
all of us supposed to do, is the representation of internet user´s in the 
region and, this representation is not a gift but a responsability that 
implies makes a successful work; thats why, the first rule inside the 
LACRALO has to be the absolute respect and cordiality among all members.

Im sure that all of us know the aptitudes of the elected representatives and 
their election was made precisely recognizing and supporting their 
capabilities, so I think that the simple and kindly solicitude to Jose 
Ovidio for the multilingual traduction of his messages will be enough and, 
Im sure he will be in the best disposition to do it.

In case exists other discussion or matters that might be solved between 
members, Im sure you can solved them out of the common mail-list, allowing a 
more successful operation of the LACRALO.
