Hello everyone!

As the ICANN Finance team prepares to post the draft FY13 Operating Plan and Budget, we would like to begin setting up community conference calls, as was done for the FY13 Framework in January, in order to walk everyone through the basic structure and intent of the document. We hope, as happened with the Framework, that this will provide you the answers to any of your questions on the document overall, allowing for a more focused and productive comment period. As a reminder, this is not the time to discuss or document your specific comments or issues of the content within the draft Operating Plan and Budget.

Shortly following this email, you will receive 3 Outlook invitations from Maya Reynolds, executive assistant to Xavier, as happened with the Framework. Please choose one meeting for either you, or a delegate for your community, to attend, though you are welcome to attend all three if you so desire :)

We are looking forward to interacting with all of you on this next step in the FY13 Budget Process.  On that note, let me mention that Xavier would like to follow through on his initiative of building a working group with community leaders, in order to build a stronger budget process using the knowledge and experience of our community members.  We will talk more about this in our call, but “food” for thought on who on your “team” may be best suited for this working group to start up in Prague.
