Congratulations for your election. We really need new people to bring fresh ideas.
The bad news is that we have also great expectations from newly elected leaders 😉

Dear Frédéric,
While it is a good thing to have new people in the leadership team, this does not mean that the more experienced people do not have a role to play. I am myself not in a leadership position, but still thinking that my contribution is important because the leaders can do nothing if there is not a great support by the whole community.

Thanks to staff for having run the elections, and thanks to all who have voted.
I do not have the actual figures i my head, but my impression is that the 20 voters - even adding the 2 abstentions - are not a brilliant result in terms of participation. I am aware that this non-voting is an issue that pervades society at large - we are likely to see this at the upcoming European elections - but in a relatively small, and supposedly motivated, community like ours it is a dangerous sign. And it links to my observation above to the community supporting the leaders.

Dear All,

On behalf of Sébastien Bachollet, Chair of EURALO, we are pleased to announce that the following EURALO candidates have been selected by acclamation and election in 2024:

  *   Emilia Zalewska-Czajczyńska – ALAC Member representing EURALO by election (Term: 2024 AGM – 2026 AGM)
  *   Anne-Marie Joly-Bachollet  – EURALO Regional Recommendation for the ALAC Delegate to the NomCom representing the European Region by acclamation(Term: 2024 AGM – 2026 AGM). Important: The appointment of NomCom delegates is carried out by the ALAC. Therefore, RALO recommendations are not binging.
