EURALO's Bulgarian ALS ISOC BG attended WEBIT this year. We had
suggested it in past outreach strategic plans, but due to the local
presence of an At-Large Structure, plus the clash with ICANN Panama
taking place simultaneously, we did not file any kind of travel request
for this.

On the second day the Founders Games €200'000 cheque has been awarded to
BIOO startup from Portugal

For 10th year in a row only 150 out of 3000 applicants made it to the
semi-finalists of Webit.Festival. After 4 months of judging rounds by
over 300 jury members, investors and enterprise leaders - the best
startups and scaleups of Europe were selected. The top 4 of them finally
made it to the Main Stage of Webit to pitch for the 200'000 EUR cheque
and the Webit's Founders Games Trophy.

The winner BIOO - was selected by the final jury of investors and some
of the most successful entrepreneurs of Bulgaria including:

  * Vassil Terziev - co-founder of Telerik (260 milo exit)
  * Ivaylo Penchev - founder of Walltopia - world's largest climbing
    wall equipment company
  * Stefan Gugushev, lawer, founder Gugushev & partners
  * Peter Mitev, founder Chaos Group, Academy Award Oscar Trophy Winner
