IMHO, the importance of this WG should not be underestimated.
The location and type of the ICANN physical meetings and the modality for
remote participation are crucial for ALAC and our outreach capability.
Based on my experience, there will be a strong push from some SO/AC to
reduce the number of meetings and/or to locate them in hubs. This will have
a negative impact on the participation of the local community, unless it is
counterbalanced by specific local meetings.
