[EURO-Discuss] Announcement / 1st Invitation to the next / 5th EURALO GA in Stockholm

Dear all,

as repeatedly discussed at our last monthly calls, EURALO will convene its next and 5th General Assembly in the eve of the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) on Wednesday 13 June 2012, in the late afternoon in Stockholm. Further details on the exact time and venue will be communicated soon – we kindly ask you to note the date already.

The key issues of the next GA will be:
- discussion and approval of the Board report on EURALO activities (the report will be circulated/submitted prior to the GA);
- ALAC’s 10th Anniversary event at the next ICANN meeting end of June in Prague;
- possibilities how to encourage and improve ALS / member involvement at the regular work of EURALO.

Unfortunately (and like for our last GA in Belgrade), we are still not in a position to provide travel funding to Stockholm for our members. Our funding request for the EURALO GA 2013 (TBC) was recently approved. But we still hope that several of you may participate at the next EuroDIG again – one of the key events on the European IG agenda – and can attend our GA as well.
