Dear all,

Best wishes for 2011!

I would like to draw your attention to new attempt of Ukrainian
government to register Cyrillic IDN - ???. At the end of last year we
received leaked information, that our government asked ICANN to
provide this domain for Ukraine. It was done again without any
discussion (or even information) of Ukrainian community. All letters
of this name have similar symbols in Roman alphabet, so there is high
risk of fishing. More over, one Ukrainian company provided for more
than 2 years registration in this domain (one year ago we had the
information about 30. 000 sold domains). Last year we succeeded to
block previous attempt, and after IGF-UA our registry and registers
began very progressive reforms in Ukrainian domain market and is ready
to apply for another Cyrillic domain - with broad discussion and
consensus.

We hope for your support and understanding!

Best regards,
Oksana.
